Mods this is not a thread about the new armor it’s about communication.

There is confusion among the community regarding the new armors and what they do/don’t do. Multiple topics about it breaking out even as I write this. A post from Anet could help the situation a bit.
I know, time is valuable, Anet is listening but doesn’t have time to post. You know you could hire a community liaison. (I’m pretty sure you have some actually, who is in charge of your twitter?)

I think that the biggest issue is the fact that we first found out about this from 3rd party sources.

While I’m aware that the blog post explaining this armor is imminent, that should’ve been the way we found out about this armor. Not some vague statement on a game review site.

Vague statement on a 3rd party site + no clarification by Anet = kitten storm.

Imo they should have some kind of CSM like in EVE Online, basically community elected users that can help Anet with managing the community, making sure everything floats and pushing out popular suggestions to the developers at meetings.

Just hold your horses.

The patching process for this stuff begins in 3 days.

They will release the patch notes and discussion on it sometime this week.

Why not just wait until, you know, the patch goes live.

Why do we need to know 100% of everything before it’s live? Does nobody like surprises anymore?

To everyone saying “CLAM DOWN”, it’d be a lot more effective if Anet said it don’t ya think?
