I know a bunch of the cash shop/promo town clothes were turned into tonics. What about the clothing we start with? I really liked the look on some of my characters. Is there any way to get the old town clothes back?

the Black Lion Armor guy gives you a town clothes tonic if you talk with them. It’s the same as the default town clothes.

Players can visit a Black Lion Trader (Armorsmith) in any major city to have their town clothes converted to items compatible with the new wardrobe.

The original town clothes with which characters are created cannot be reacquired if they are destroyed.

If you don’t have the town clothes to convert, check the TP. The tonics are tradeable. Search for “Common,” I guess, as that’s part of the name of the tonic.
