Hi!

A friend of mine just bought the game 2 hours ago, and i bought it on launch
I want to see what server am i without lauching the game to tell him what server he must create his caracteres.

Cant enter the game now because im at work.

Help me please!

Server only matters if you plan on WvWing together.

However, you can go to leaderboards.guildars2.com. Log in, go to the achievements, you can see your world there (check your points against your friends, makes for an easily readible list)

Look yourself up on the achievement leaderboard.

That is the URL if you are on an NA server.

Unless you play WvW it doesn’t really matter all that much, megaservers lets us all play together any way. The only thing that’ll keep you apart is if one of you picks NA and the other EU.

When you log into the game it brings you to the character selection screen. On the lower left it’ll tell you what server you’re on.

I’ll upload mine as an example.

OP said he can’t log into the game at this time.

If you can contact a person outside of the game who is on your friend list , they can check their list to find out which server you are on.

Oops, yeah I missed that line in the original post..my bad

If you want to find out what server someone is on, simply add them to your friends list then view your friends on the leaderboards.

Son of Nemesis.7810 for example is on Seafarer’s Rest (EU).

You used to be able to do this in-game by adding someone to your guild, but that apparently is no longer possible since the guild merge/megaserver change.
