Ok this is the issue I have. I do not mind starting over from scratch, but I just want to go to my friend’s world. It will take an unrealistic amount of time if I grind the money to transfer over there and I just don’t feel like spending more money to just play on a different world. I’m literally just trying to play with friends I’ve met that also play GW2. I do not mind starting over from scratch, so if I delete all my characters, will I be able to start in a new world? or can the admins just wipe my account so I can start fresh in a different World? I’m not trying to benefit in anyways from this transfer I just want to play with friends that just happen to be on a different server than I am. I understand it takes time to transfer accounts that have stuff on it, but if it’s a delete and recreation then that should be much easier right? If this action is possible please let me know. Oh and if it is not possible also just let me know… I thank you for reading this much and for the time spent to resolve my issue.

Yes, if you delete all of your characters you can transfer to a new world for free. Anything that you currently have in your bank that’s not soulbound or achievements (I believe) will still be there since it’s account bound.

Before you do all that : you can play on any server without paying a transfer fee. You’ll only be limited for WvW.

Yup, pretty much. But if the OP wants to do wvw with their friend, then they do need to transfer.

ok it allowed me to transfer over for free after deleting all my characters, but I guess I was clicking too quickly or something, but now I just got kicked and I can’t log back in. I read in the gw2 wiki that it takes 5-30 minutes… is it actually longer? or do I have an actual issue now?
