Guild Wars 2

Bit of an odd one. Since the latest patch I’ve noticed that it now takes me two attempts to ALT-TAB out of the game. It never works on the first attempt and always works on the second one. Previously it has always just worked. Also, I’m in the bad habit of running round everywhere constantly holding down the left CTRL and ALT keys to show various labels. I’m fine with this but yesterday I noticed that I can no longer cast spells whilst holding down those keys. It’s not a biggie but it did cost me an embarrassing death where I was fleeing and failed to notice that my heal had not fired off.

Has anyone else seen the same thing or is there something odd going on with my PC?

Some new commander keybind functions were prematurely added… go to options, control options, scroll down to commander, then unbind everything

Thanks, Solomon, for pointing that out. Was driving me nuts.

ArenaNet, why do I have ((641149)) bound to my ALT key by you, when:

1 – you’re clearly not done with whatever you’re doing with these Commander skills and
2 – Me and every other GW player since 2005 have been using the ALT key for something else?

Don’t know about anyone else, but (and I am using the 64bit Client) many of my Options were unchecked (like AOE loot, auto-loot, and showing the local time – those were the three I noticed).

Happened on the 32 bit client as well.

And if you log out and back in again after making changes… it goes back to the goofed up one.

You, sir, are a genius. Absolutely spot on. I’d never have thought to look there! Even ALT-TAB works again, even though it was not mapped to anything else.

And it does seem to have store the changes so it’s all good. Thank you.
