Guild Wars 2

I was reading over the AMD catalyst 13.4 release notes and saw this.

-Significantly improves latency performance in Skyrim, Boderlands 2, Guild Wars 2, Tomb Raider and Hitman Absolution

The game has always run fine on my machine, but any improvement is good to have. Anyone notice a difference after installing?

Hmm, wonder if I’ll finally be able to overclock my 7950 in gw2 without the gpu crashing :/

I just made a clean install of windows yesterday and downloaded the 13.3 Beta3 and just one day after they released the 13.4? Just my luck

By the way, GW2 does work better with the 13.3 Beta3 (the last working driver for me was the 12.11 beta 11). Lets see how it does with the 13.4 (it supposed to be the same but sometimes the beta work better, at least for me). Also, I’ll try the 13.5 beta

Driver latency (communication in hardware) is different than network latency.

Would this work on 6000 series? Or is this strictly a new card thing?

Did they fix the BSOD when taking screenshots with the 13.4 drivers that some people were getting with the 13.3b?

There are quite a few 6xxx series, but no 60xx series.

I’ll update this post once I have it installed and let you know because I know I was certainly getting that issue too.

edit yes, the 13.4 driver does seem to fix the issue. I did however notice a 2 fps drop in the static area I’m testing…..I’m gunna try the beta drivers

Just like always, the final version is crap. I installed it and it took second to finish which is obviously not right and in effect, no change was made to the driver or the CCC. Then I installed the BETA driver and it work flawless so just like always, I’ll stay with the BETA.
