Dear ANET,

I understand the whole development team is hard at work on HoT. But for several months now we’ve had very little ‘significant’ content or events to rally people around.

Is it at all possible to put the Queen’s Jubilee event (and farm map) into the calendar over the next month or so as its becoming abundantly clear the timetable for HoT indicates a release later in the year.

In addition, any chance of a WvW season? Give us something to sink our teeth into please!!

No one cares if the content is an exact replica of previous calendar events. Right now people want something more than dailies to log in for and expac hype is turning a bit :s the longer we wait.

SAB. We never forget

It would require pulling people off from working on the expansion so very unlikely. I’d rather have the expansion release this year than have it set back because of a single event.

We dont want or need a WvW season.

SAB however that can come back any time.

it would be nice to see a significant event pre-HoT. but the way Anet is with events i would not count on it at all .

Counting down to Haloween

It’s an event that’s guaranteed to make a ghostly appearance.

We don’t “need” a significant event before the expac releases. I certainly want one and I think ANet made a tactical mistake by not reserving a big enough team to work on events|features while the bulk of staff worked on HoT. I think ANet missed an opportunity for hype by including teasers for veterans and to attract new players.

However, I can’t imagine how ANet could change directions at this point. All the staff they have is working on whatever they’ve been assigned already. For them to be pulled to work on pre-HoT content means that the expac would be delayed and, at this point, I can’t imagine that would be good for ANet or the community.

I agree with Illconceived. I would like new events, but I want the expansion more. They said several months back that everyone is so busy that they can’t hardly find time to do anything extra. It was the stated reason why it took months to fix the Hall of Monuments bug. They didn’t have people free to do it.

I vote for SAB also. I haven’t seen it since world 2 first opened. Need happy pixels.
