Hi guys!
I am a Ranger, most of the time spent in GW2 was on the Ranger.
I have a question,i love archers,and i always create archers in games but i can’t create a Ranger in GW2 to look like a Ranger i envision.

Will we ever have an armor to give us the awesome “Ranger look” like in the pics i attached ?

(maybe is the hood/cowl that gives that "ranger feel)[i know we have the |order of whispers cowl and we had the grenth thing aswell but it does not seem to fit a ranger]
{It doesn’t matter if is a Gem Shop armor skin or an armor…}

Cowls aren’t something that make even the remotest amount of sense for a class that is all about being aware of their surroundings and responding to any given situation with precision and accuracy – they block a ridiculous amount of your vision.

I suspect cowls are not high up on their list because they’re difficult to make work on all the races. Read that as, Charr have massive heads with big pointy ears and horns,

Well… Roll a thief choose the path that gives you a hood from the start, Transmugate it with a white headpiece (make it account bond) and finally equip it on your ranger.
It is just a hood but it is medium armor and I am pretty sure you can make it account bond.

Anwser to OP; nah… I think ranger in GW2 is neat and I realy don’t like when every game/movie has the typhical Ranger/hunter look.
But I would want more sturdy medium clothes that is not coats. And soft light clothes that is not only Robes (For men atleast, womans got skirts).

So,you tell me that having a cowl on my character will block his vision? You remember that we are talking about a game, with big cats that can talk and tree ppl….right?
You can equip an Order of Whispers cowl on a charr…so would be hard to equip a “ranger like” cowl…

I don’t say exactly like a “thypical Ranger/hunter look” but near that. And wouldn’t be nice players like me that want that type of armor to have the option to get it?

You can always create a thief with the anonymity hood, and transmute it to a white quality (and low lvl) head armor, this will make the hood account bound.

Ofc it would. Well I might have come out wrong… Sorry.
What I meant was that I do not care for any (imo)typhical ranger looks.
I didn’t mean that I don’t want the option to have it, in fact I am all for more choises for Medium armor and I am always mixmatching gear so even if I don’t want to look like a Ranger I can still use a rangers Shoulderguards for an example.

So in short, yes I would like those ranger outfits you have posted pictures on but if I had to choose between those and for example Indiana Jones clothes (What I want) I would go for Indiana clothes

They tend to make up the difference by being very helpful when staying for hours, days, or weeks out in this little thing we call ‘nature’ .

They didn’t evolve as a fashion statement, they’re the product of practical necessities.

This is what I did with my ranger. Worked fine and looks great. And yes, my ranger is a Charr female and I like the way it looks.
