Välkyri – 80 Warrior
JQ[Lulz] – Kill fur Thrillz…
Okay, I played GW1 but have never linked my acct cause i never really cared about the whole AP thing, I chased after AP in WoW and didn’t want to do it here but I have recently finished my 3rd legendary and noticed how many AP I got for them and heard guildies talking about how they were going back and farming AP in GW1 and saying how it only took several hours took get the first 300AP. I have made 3 Legendaries and have gotten 5 AP for each one, that doesn’t seem like Anet has their head on right if people can play another game and get all these AP for doing almost nothing but buying weapons and such on another game. Is this gonna be fixed or something?
Please go back to GW1 and farm your HoM points, the community will love the fresh blood and you’ll learn what grind really means.

Your friends are lying to you with regards to how long it took them to get 30/50 in the HoM.

In all fairness to the OP, the search function is one click away from useless.
It took a couple of years of dedicated play for me to get 30/50. To get the last 20 took that long and then some.

It took me one month of hardcore playing (and I mean hardcore, average of 18 hours a day every day) to get to 33. However, I had a lot of lucky breaks, such as getting to 15 within my first week due to Pink Day and nice guilds (which I proceeded to get kicked out of).
If you had all expansions, speed leveled your character, and asked for the best hero builds while following the wiki you could get 30/50 in about a month if you played hardcore.
It’d go way faster if you found someone with game experience to carry you in their party with their heroes. It would be really boring since, I know from experience you can make hero team builds that can basically steamroll the game in normal mode for you. But then again that was one of the things I like about Guild Wars, there was easy mode to enjoy the storylines and hard mode to enjoy the challenges.
And if they have a bunch of extra non-devoted mini’s, easy points. If they have extra hero armor pieces, easy points. If they have extra game currency and mats sitting in their bank to give you so you can buy armor and weapons, easy points x2.
Honestly there’s some people who could make some serious bank from their old Guild Wars accounts, or if they’re just feeling generous make a bunch of friends in Guild Wars 2. I’m sure there’s a number of people in GW2 who would like an easy extra 300 AP while learning about why people love Guild Wars 1 so much, and learning about the lore.
Hey everybody.
