Guild Wars 2

This update is supposed to make the game less grindy. Is that true about APs ? I really badly want that Radiant hauberk, this is the only decent-looking medium armor chest to me !

APs are directly unaffected. Nerfs/rebalances to HoT will make certain achievements easier to get and more ppl in WvW should do the same, however the physical number of APs you can get and how many you need for rewards, remains unchanged

It makes some collection easier, but these collections usually do not give much AP

kitten, I only got 5.5k, been playing since beta with long pauses. It will take me years to get it >.<

That is the point of it. The AP rewards are long term rewards not something you get within weeks. Expect to take at least 5000 hours focused play to get 30k AP.
