Guild Wars 2

So I am about to hit 80 on my Ranger as my first 80, but I am not too sure where to go from there. Best way to initially gear myself? Should I star explorables/fractals right away? I haven’t done either, so I am not too sure about the general flow here.

When I hit 80, I started by looking at which armor set I wanted first. It was a dungeon set so I started running that dungeon. After I did the runs for the day I would start working on map completion. I am currently at 86% map completion and am only missing one piece of my armor because I have not been running the dungeon recently.

I made a spreadsheet of what I want to obtain on my main. I am 11% done with gathering the materials for my legendary, 77% done with the 3 armor sets I want to obtain and 33% done with the exotic weapons I want.

I make a little progress everyday and then just go do what is fun for me that day.
