U lost me when u started explain what game means
So, is what you are saying to these ‘newer player or gamers’ is “everything is ’kay, stop QQing, bro”?
Just stop playing, if you dont like it.
And stop QQ, bro.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
I think that’s because people just like telling you what is wrong and what is right.
Most of them don’t feel the urge to reconsider what they think and disccuss an argument in a constructive way.
They are also scared that if someone with ideas different from theirs would find support, this could lead to a change of which they are scared of, so they try to quickly stop most of suggestions/complaints saying “you’re wrong”, “go away”.
This strategy works with some posters, that after some tries just give up, but there will always be a new player asking for the same kind of things.
Naysayers are a very busy group of supporter.
I too am “theoretically” against some things people often ask , but if I would take the time to post in their threads I would explain why I feel like that and try to find a MIDDLE WAY.

“Bro…bro…hey bro everything is kay, stop QQing bro”. Also your post isn’t really coherent.
From what I’ve seen, the forums in general tend to resort to the “everything’s fine stop QQing bro kthxbye” when faced repeatedly with the same issue as, say, mounts or stacking in dungeons.
What you have are two particular camps who have decided either A) the game is dying, or B) There’s absolutely nothing wrong.
A) is pretty much false by any metric you see. The game is making money, and what little data is released shows the game in very good shape.
B) is an entirely subjective opinion that can’t be right OR wrong, no matter how much they assert it as objective truth.
Welcome to the wonderful world of cognitive dissonance.

Swish, your arguments are invalid, because in the new LS seems to be continuing in launching new areas every now and then, son we can consider it as an expansion, but coming slowly piece by piece.

It is a content time gate that stop players who can finish an expansion size contents in 2 days. Makes them slow down follow the speed of LS content release. I am quite okay with this method, as long as it stays forever, no rush doing all in roll.
Unless you live in the game there should be no need to have an expansion’s worth of content all at once. I like the fact I can actually stop an enjoy it rather than racing to the finish line so I don’t get left behind everyone else. On top of that 2-3 days of 7-12 hours a day of play time to finish a single story line is not fun, it is work. As long as we get expansion level content as often as a normal game would I don’t care if it’s chopped up into little bits over the course of the year rather than released in bulk. Expansions are like watching Doctor Who. New season comes out, great. Season over “Darn, I gotta wait that long for the next one?”
Still, I do agree with the idea that people have lost interest. I almost did, but the initial game was so impressive I decided to stick around to see if they will improve the updates. LS2 is an improvement in so many ways, but this late in the game it might not be enough. Something might need to be done to retain public interest of the game. An expansion would help bring players back in, maybe even some new ones, for the hype factor and that shiny new game feeling that massive updates bring with them. Only loyal players like me will have the patience to stick around for the LS, other people need something bigger and flashier for the game to seem worthwhile. That said I still don’t think an expansion should replace LS content if the LS can deliver the same amount of permanent content, though that doesn’t mean I’m against an expansion ON TOP of the living story. sigh One can only dream…
The truth of this situation is you can’t please everyone. Some people like LS and others like expansions. But I think it’s safe to say something big needs to happen to bring back the people who didn’t like the LS.

I don’t mind the lack of content updates at all. What I do mind is the game’s stagnating metagame, and the horrific change to the trait system.
It may be an MMO, but it’s still a buy-to-play game at its core. Might as well be single player, except with more people I can play with, and friends sometimes as well!
