Anyone want to tell me what the cause of this is?

I’m not sure, but I’ve sent in a few in-game Bug Reports about it. It seems to happen in certain cave/cave-like areas, but not all.

Thought it was just me, though, as this is the first time I’ve seen a thread/post about it.

As I recall it’s a skritt cave in Mount Maelstrom. I also reported it once I saw that it was the same on my roommate’s comp as on mine.

Yeah, it’s pretty blinding inside that cave.

As far as to what the cause is… I suspect it’s where the Chaos Gloves are manufactured before going to the Gem Store.

I get that too, in Charr caves areas.. One of the guild rush areas in Charr map is like that.

Also an area in hrathi highlands

I’ve seen it in Vexa’s Lab (the creature fighting annex) for some time. It’s annoying but I figured Vexa is like that. Vexatious.

It’s also in the conundrum cubed jumping puzzle,and makes the puzzle impossible as it’s so bright the cubes can’t be clearly seen.
The issue is fairly recent,as I did this puzzle 6 months ago and no prob then.
