~Overview~
Goal: Make it so that account bound items (unlimited tools, toys, salvage machines and useful items) can be shared across all character without banking while respecting the business side of Guild Wars 2.
~Method~
-New bank tab for just the belt feature
-Click-able belt button in inventory window
-3 Slots for tools (1 Sickle, 1 Pickaxe, 1 Axe)
-1 Slot for Salvage (Copper fed, silver fed or salvage kits)
-Multiple slots (with more that can be purchased) for all other items: Tonics, Revive Orbs, Repair Canister, Musical Tools, Toys and all the other goodies)
~Price~
-The cost to gain access to belt would be a one time fee of gems (maybe 400) per character this will allow everyone to support the game even with no plan to buy another of the same item.
-Would cost to open more item slots to store more for all characters to use.
~Break-down~
-New bank tab would be the only way to add/remove items to/from the belt.
-Belt button would be on the bottom of the inventory screen and when clicked would bring up a new window allowing a player to use the items stored (Such as a salvage kit to empty inventory, or a Harp to play a song while waiting at bosses to even a revive orb during the middle of a dungeon)
-3 Slots for tools would be used second while harvesting a node, first would be the currently equipped tool and then the stored one (also can hold merchant bought tools, saving a player from being unable to harvest a node because tool broke until they get to a merchant)
-1 Slot for salvage items would allow you to empty your inventory without a trip to the bank, can also hold merchant bought kits)
-Slots for the rest, these would be used for all fun little goodies you currently possess (tonics, toys, instruments, riding) as well as the useful ones you may forget to take out of the bank (revive orb, repair canister, merchants, and black lion merchants) even those vanity items (self style hair kit, single use and unlimited) Certain items should be coded to work from this storage so the player can avoid a bank use (such as an Infinite Continue Coin)
~Summary~
This idea would not only allow those who have bought unlimited items to make quick use of and since most player would not like to buy another set this will also allow Anet to make a little money by charging the one time fee for access to the belt. Not only would unlimited items benefit from this the ones you receive as a reward and may forget to take out of a bank or change over to a character and be in need of causing those items to be used faster and be replenished if the player chose to.
