Guild Wars 2

I was simply thinking about sharing my GW2 account with someone, i.e. giving them my username and password.
The question is: If I do this, will they at all be able to access my bank and/or bank card information?

They will not be able to access your out-of-game bank or information, but they will certainly be able to access your in-game bank, and all characters. It is against the ToS; one of the reasons being it often leads to conflict between users of said account. You will not be able to receive any support from Customer Support if you do share your account. Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

Sharing your account with anyone outside of your house is considered a violation. You will also need to authenticate any new locations, assuming your account is setup.

If you’ve bought gems and selected to remember your credit card, they could probably buy gems.

I just never want to play the game. I thought I’d like it but it turns out I don’t, and me not being an mmo person doesn’t help.
I’d just hate to see my money go to waste, so I want to be able to give it to someone who wants it but can’t buy it for themselves.
Also I heard there may be a way to detach my information, is this at all possible?

Again, giving away your account is against the ToS. The person that gains possession of your account will never be able to receive support, unless you give them all your information. Past and present. Since you are reluctant (for good reason) to do so, the account could end up worthless to the giftee.
