There are mini Ravens which drop from the black lion chests. I have gotten 3 in total so far. They are account bound and you are unable to sell them on the trading post or to a merchant. You are also unable to throw them in the Mystic forge.

The only thing you can do with them is destroy them. That is hardly fair to all those little Ravens.

Please can you change this so that we can sell them — if not on the trading post then to a merchant?

Yes ArenaNet – please think of the Ravens and make them either drop less, Mystic Forge-able, or Sellable. These poor ravens need a home somewhere!

Concur, please remove the account bound to these items. Once you find one of each you are left with items that are worth less than trash loot. Or allow us to sell them to a vendor for 5 gold or so.

I’d like the option to at least forge extras. Same with Balthazar pet

I assume they’re account bound simply because they’re a re-release of a mini that was originally sold directly in the gem store (part of the avian 3-pack).

At the time it made sense, but now they’re random they really should be tradable. Or at least forgable so you’ve got a chance of getting something useful.

Really? You can get an item that is only worth unlocking once, multiple times on something that you gambled money on?

That sounds like a true waste of money. Guess I won’t be buying keys any time soon.

They did that recently with the mini pets originally from the time of SAB. I got a second mini Bee Dog, which I ended up deleting.

5 gold is hilariously high for an autosell, you can’t be serious. Especially considering that they drop rather often from BLCs.

Allowing us to MF them is the best option imo.

I don’t like Mystic Forging things but at least it would be something rather than destroying them.

I am being hopeful when I said 5 gold. I am also basing that off the fact that some mini’s do sell for that price and that mini instead could have been another Orichalcum Mining Node. Aka that loot roll that it occupied had high potential value so 5 did not seem unreasonable in that light. Best solution is just let the market price it out by removing teh account bound bit.

In either case as stated above BLTC are a form of gambling, allow us to try and recoup some coin on the items that one player may not want but another might. At least in the old collections you could just store extra’s there, now unless you destroy them you are also eating up bank space that can be at a premium.

They are account bound so I can’t put them in my personal guild bank and there is no dedicated slot for them in my regular bank, so if I get more than one or two then they start tying up scarce inventory space. I can’t see any reason to make some minis account bound when they are RNG from the cash shop to acquire. At the bare minimum they should be forgeable.

Oh sure. “need a good home.” So you flush them down the toilet? Harsh bro, harsh.

I really don’t understand why account-bound collectibles drop randomly.

• If it’s random, make it tradeable.
• If you don’t want us to trade the item, don’t offer it randomly.

If the drop rate is too high, like this raven, people feel it’s a wasted drop. If the rate is too low (like the mini ghost dog from Halloween), then people feel trolled that they can’t get it themselves.
