Can someone from ANet please explain why you can get account-bound minis from a BL chest? They’re basically wasted slots once you already have them. C’mon, guys, I paid real money for those keys; I’m entitled to get ONLY things I can actually use.

No, no you arent. The keys are no different than a digital scratch-off lotto ticket or raffle ticket. You’re going to get something, but you have no control over exactly what you’re going to get.

I disagree that you’re entitled to only get things you can actually use. Otherwise I want no more Boxes of ‘fun’, ever.

But I do agree the minis should be tradable. I think the only reason they aren’t is because back when they were first introduced they were sold directly through the gem store, and all those minis are account bound. But while that makes sense for an item you buy deliberately it makes no sense at all for a random drop from a chest. And since it seems unlikely they’ll be put back in the gem store again they should just make them tradable so people can get rid of the extras without simply deleting 1/3 of their ‘prizes’.

Or at least make it possible to throw them in the Forge.
