plz give me Option “Show Accountname for Guild/Friends in Chat”

im in a big Guild and have big friendlist. And always this twink names in Chat i never saw before and have to mouseover to know who is talking to me is confusing.

Plz let me see the Accountnames – i dont care for all this twink names^^

And what about set Nickname ? They don’t show on guild chat ? I never tried so I can’t say, but maybe it works

Gw2’s terminology is confusing.

Your Account Name is the email you use when logging on. Your Display Name is the name and number (Romek.4201) that you chose when buying the game.

So what you are actually asking for is the Display Name in chat, not the Account Name (the email). A small point, but I think we can guarantee they never will allow the Account Name to show. ^^

Using the nickname option only changes the Display name in-game. It does not affect character names. I’m afraid you will have to mouseover the character names to discover the Account name, at this time.

Who knows? They might change it to work as it did in Guild Wars (One) (showing both on Friend’s list), some day.
