I’ve just come back to play gw2, check out the new changes and the new content, and i saw that i’m awarded with a “daily” chest, based on my achivement points. At first i got a 1g chest and some other random things, and started to do more stuff that give more achivement points, for a bigger chest ofc. I’ve managed to get to 2500, got the chest that gives 5g + random, that was yesterday. Today i logged back in to get the chest, but there was no chest, i was looking in my achivement panel, it says i have 2502 points, and my next chest is 3000 points.

My question is, how does this achivement chest work, if i get over that amount like with even 1 point, i don’t get the chest anymore, and makes me go farm to get the next one? Why there’s no chest in between, for example 2500-3000, it has to be 3k sharp? or 3.5k….i’m confused.

You already got the chest at 2500 you say, you’ll get the next one once you get to or exceed 3k.

If you didn’t loot the chest you get at 2500 APs (don’t understand that part of your message) and it dissapeared, I’d suggest you contact support right away. I know I got at least the 4500 with more than that (I was something like 4495 and earnt 10 APs), and another time I logged off with the chest on the screen without looting and was still there when I relogged, so no idea what happened there.

If you did loot it, it’s working as intended, and your next chest is at 3000. You get chests every 500 points, contents depend on how many APs you have (every 3000 you get an armor skin, for example, every 1000 you get a zenith weapon skin unless you got an armor skin in that chest, and so on)

Each chest in the line of succession is listed at the top of the achievement page. You can see what your next goal is to get to the next chest. You received on per day because you had already earned them and they decided to dole them out once per day you log in.

ah i see, now i got it. got some chests every day i logged in, prob they were the chests from 500,1000,1500 and 2000. thanks for the reply guys
