Achievement patch killed Keg Brawl
i thought no one cared when i asked if people want to play mini games together with friends?
I never saw that post o_o I definitely want to play mini games with friends! ><
Edit: Also, apparently the Dev that you quoted at the end of that thread does. Hoping that’s out quickly, it’s at least a bandage to the problem.
Still won’t make a thriving Keg Brawl atmosphere though if the farming continues in random matches where you’re allowed achievement points.

its not too late! gather your friends and make some noise in the same thread.
perhaps they will do something about it.

yeah, haha, I saw it in your sig. I responded in an edit, but it looks like at least they’ve acknowledged and plan to put in a grouping/lobby system for activities.
It still won’t fix the issue of farmers, though, unfortunately.

hmm looking on the bright side, at least we can play with friends if they made game rooms browsers or allow us to make private temporary rooms (a dungeon instance that accommodates more people) to play with friends.
them farmers can farm together with their friends too.

I guess, except it defeats the purpose of the achievement points and the title. It’s accommodating farmers and I don’t like it. But if it’s the best they can do, I’ll take it, because it’s infinitely better than getting spam reported every time I try to play my favorite non-combat activities in the game.
If I could try and make an analogy: it’s like attending a public book club, but the more you go there, the more and more people at the events stop reading the books the group picked and instead watch the movie.
It wasn’t a problem before, where only a few people sit off in the corner and watch the movie of the book. Because you can still carry on with your discussion about the unique elements of the book and the message of the author or whatever.
But now I come into my book club and no one except me has read the book 19 out of the 20 times I attend, so I cannot enjoy discussion about the book, nor can I meet people who enjoy discussing the book. This turns away people who enjoy discussing the book as opposed to the movie.
So if I try to host a private book club, I won’t have a pool of book-readers to enlist. I will have to keep going to the Remodeled Book Club hoping that there’s SOMEONE who’s actually there to talk about the book, and then inviting them to my private book club.
Seems like a really kittenty way to operate a public book club, huh? lol, idk why I went off on this strange tangent, but I’m sticking to this analogy until someone can point out my bull kitten.
