Achievement points
Where can I spend them?
You can’t….yet…if ever.
They are not really currency but a means to track your progress through the game. Other like to use them as a measure of who is the better player but that’s arguable. :P
Good point, whats the “point” of having them. In Gw1 it was a goal towards HoM which turned out to be a bit useless and instead place I visit every now and then to reminisce of the old days…
Thanks was a honest question with a little bit of preliminary sarcasm because I suspected that…
They are supposed to be turned into rewards, something like laurels, at some time in the future. When..of if, actually?…no one knows, for sure.

Would be nice!
I’ve never really thought of them being a currency. TBH, I’d rather they never be.
It’d be neat though if they unlocked certain specialty weapon/armor skins though.
At 2500, you get access to tier 1, 5000, tier 2 and so on.

I’m what many around here call a hardcore player. I can only log in during off hours because I am constantly spammed with party requests

Why not? I don’t see the problem, they are earned and accessible to everybody.

No problem, really. Just be another form of currency and once you start spending them your number would go down. Currently people use them to track progress or whatever. Might make people reluctant to ‘spend’ them if it causes that number to decrease. That was all, really.
