For WvW, can you implement a way in which blueprints can be accessed regardless of the character you’re playing?

I usually play ranger and have all my prints on him, but now that I’ve gotten other chars to level 80, I find it frustrating to be swapping prints between chars.

Could we have a pack in our inventory that’s account wide? 20 slot would be ideal. With such an addition, we could store prints in such a pack and switching chars would allow us to have access to prints without the hassle of swapping them via the bank. Especially when the bank isn’t accessible where you are in WvW.

PvE could benefit as well by storing boosters and other things in this pack for example.

Bottom line is regardless of what char I’m playing, it’s still me and I’d like to have access to my stuff whenever I need it, regardless of “who” I’m playing.

The wallet that we have now for currency was an excellent improvement. Adding an account wide storage pack would improve the game as well.

Good idea. Would be useful for all account bound items and weapons. PvE too.

(Just last week I noticed that all WvW maps were missing a banker. Sometimes banker is there but not when I needed it, of course. Perhaps Anet tried to make a need for the golem banker they promoted.)

Each homeland has crafting sites, which double as bank access.

The bankers are bought by your teammates. Has got nothing to do with anet.

Yes but there are also people playing on opponent borderlands and on Eternal Battlegrounds and sometimes these maps have queues.
I would love a siege bag which all of my characters can share as I forget who’s carrying what, but I guess that isn’t going to happen.

That option already exist and its called a Bank. Its account wide

In WvW You can access your personal bank through all guild bankers, including borderland bankers and Guild registrar.

Talk to a guild registrar and selecting first option “I want to access guild bank” and if you want to access your account then in the window on the top left select “Account Vault” instead of inventory, open inventory window with ’’I’’ and you can deposit/withdraw. It work in all borderlands as well as regular areas where a guild registrar can be found

Just put your blue prints in the bank instead

Did you ever try what you just advised?

Edit: Ahh ok – had a hard time finding the guild registrar as when there’s a “bank” it’s always two of them a guild bank and a usual bank.

Honestly I don’t really mind the idea of ANet adding a new bag that would contain only blueprints, if only to save bank/regular bag space.

Start with blueprints bags … then players will ask for unlimited gathering tools bags .. and so on …it will never end

Except blueprint bags actually make a sort of sense especially with account wide Commander tags now. I’ve never heard or seen anyone ask for an unlimited gathering tools BAG though, just some sort of character slot for them….

Start carrying some bank expresses on each of your characters. I see no reason for a bag to do what can already be accomplished in-game and provides a goldsink and income for ANet through gem store purchases.

Despite what many people believe, the gem store is also a valuable goldsink for gold→gem conversion.

Because it would have little to no use outside of wvw (if strictly blueprints) the other communities would throw a tantrum.

I would eagerly pay gems for that.
I imagine it would be: you need to buy 1 inventory bag for each character that wants to use it.
I see it as: Mystic Bag, sold in gem store for 800 gems. you buy one, equip it, you can put things in it just like a normal invisible bag, and things in it don’t appear when selling stuff or depositing. you buy a 2nd one, equip it to a 2nd character, everything in the first bag is visible by both characters, and both characters are able to take things out and put things into it. you can buy a 3rd one, equip it to a 3rd character, same deal. omg, that is such a great idea.
does it really have to be strictly blueprints? one of my current bags is for food, oil, blueprints, contracts. all 3 of those would be hella useful on all characters.
only problem I see is if someone equips 2 to one character – would it be 2 different bags? or the same thing shown on both bags? my vote is for the same things shown on both bags so that this would strictly be 1 bag per character. but the bags should be account bound so that someone can make that mistake, then correct it themselves.

If they do something like this, I would hope it’s a long term item in the gem store. Not a special, “here for X number of days then gone”. The price they will probably ask would means buying enough for all my level 80s would be a long term goal, probably over several months. ‘There and gone again’ sales would stifle buying, imo, since you will need more than one to make this work.

Agree, making it into other items would make it useful for the most people in multiple game modes. It wouldn’t have to be many slots either, even 5-8 slots would be a great convenience. It does become a pain shuffling items across multiple characters when not all if them are standing next to a bank.

I want one for my endless tonic(s). Not something I use every time I log in, but would be nice if every character could access it without a trip to the bank. I’d buy permabanker but it’s the same problem, need one for each character.

This was a feature we asked for heavily in the lead-up to the most recent feature pack. ANet decided it would be better to give us ugly backpacks.

Blueprints should be like a currency to be honest, but yeah, the pack would still be nice. It’s been asked for many times, but I doubt it would ever happen.
