Turn it on/off by the keyboard, is it not a good idea?

I think it’s a very good idea.

They actually used to have this back when there were town clothes instead of outfits. I have no idea why it wasn’t carried over because it made using them much easier and therefore more appealing. Although it’s not difficult it is a pain to have to go through the menus each time I want to switch in or out of them.

It would also be nice IMO to have an option like GW1 has where you can set them to turn on automatically if you enter a town, or explorable zone.

A keybind would be great. I used to toggle between town clothes and action gear frequently, but with outfits, I rarely switch back-and-forth, and a keybind would turn that around.

A keybind would be nice. An option to automatically switch when entering a town would be even better (additionally to the keybind).

All those vertical tab on the Hero window could really use separate keybinds.

Back to the outfits: IMO some small QoL changes would help much. Like that toggle keybind. And a outfit-only hide/show checkboxes for head and shoulder armor. No reason why outfits inherit that setting from normal armor. And dyes saved per outfit instead of per character. (My pet project, pardon.)

Outfits seem to be one of GW2’s mainstay of income, so seems peculiar ANet does not invest the effort for such simple improvements.

Ah, I miss having that keybind. I’d love to have that back, instead of clicking on that little check box.

Many alts; handle it!

I’d enjoy it for more than one reason.
