It boggles my mind how many people aren’t just refining the mats. Every single bloodstone dust I ever gotten is sitting in my collectables tab, in one stack.

that costs gold to do, I spend all my gold on wvw upgrades and siege.

It’s a small price to pay.

The gold is inconsequential, but it also costs karma, and I missed the ‘karma is air’ phase. As of last night, I no longer need shards for crafting my first legendary, so I made sure to use what remaining shards/karma I had towards refining some ascended mats, but I’m sitting on around 90 stacks of ascended mats.

Delete them. They are more common then…well…dust..

I have an alt with his entire inventory (80+ slots) full of ascended mats. And it’s now creeping into my bank tabs because I no longer have room for more.

As easy as it is to suggest just making them into bars, the thing is, I have. I have over 90 bloodstone bricks, over 70 empyreal stars, and I don’t know how many ascended banana bars.

Thing is, I just can’t get the obsidian shards fast enough to convert them, let alone all the gold to craft any more into bars. Yes it may only be 18 or so silver per 100, but times that by 80+ stacks and it really starts to add up.

I wish anet would do something about this. Every player and their dog it seems have been screaming at them to do something, but nothing has been done :-/ I think if we don’t hear anything soon, I’m just going to start deleting all my stacks. We’ve given them plenty of time to respond after all, yet heard nothing.

Make them sell able :o

Rather than adding them to the wallet, which would tell me I have 18300 dust (it’s around there), I would rather they make shards easier to get (karma buffs or an alternative method that’s easier than karma), or add additional ways for me to use it, so I feel like I have a legitimate resource.

I could do that, but as soon as I do they will come out with a new recipe or sink that requires them unrefined. I guarantee it….

just trash them. It’s easy, here’s how.

right click > delete.

These can be sold on the TP (and they do sell). The profit margin isn’t very high, seems the Crystalline Dust required in addition to craft (silly they need both Crystalline Dust and Toxic Dust, seems Bloodstone Dust is essentially the Ascended Tier dust, but regardless), and Crystalline Dust is expensive and far more valuable, but it’s better than nothing.

It’s worth noting that crafting these stones/oils/crystals can get your crafting level all the way up to 500 too BTW, if you haven’t yet reached that point.

like actually use the stuff for what it was meant for?

and dont say its to expensive. I got 4 professions up to 500 for the grand total of ZERO gold.

If you are not going to craft anything, then just remove it. why bother even storing it if you are not even going to use it.

Convert them into stacks of vision crystals, there problem solved
