It seems to me, that if you added Story Chapters to the daily achievements, that it would be a nice addition. After all, many of us are poor jumpers-so jumping puzzles are either ignored or you wait for a kind Mesmer. The daily activities also seem to have limitations, like belchers bluff.

Adding in either a specific story chapter or one from a specific Season (for example any Living World Year Two Chapter would be refreshing and help many people appreciate the story more.

Sadly, since those are only available free if you log in at the time, or for purchase afterwards, this would mean daily things limited to people who owned them — and the associated complaints of being forced to “pay” to participate.

I like the idea, honestly, even though I’d treat a handful of them like I do the adventures — mostly ignore, because I don’t like them — since I do have other choices.

So, great idea, but I forsee it would not be an easy “sell” to the playerbase.

I love the idea it reminds me of the Halo reach days doing daily story missions for credits. There already is a living world daily category for each map so it could work as well all they need to do is add an expansion tab for expansion dailies and you got yourself an expansion seller too.

I’m not convinced playing 1 random episode out of order on the odd day when they can’t find a quicker daily would help people appreciate the story. Especially since many people like to get their dailies done as fast as possible so they’ll likely skip or ignore the dialogue.

People seem to have enough trouble following the story when they do it in order with a few weeks break between episodes. Doing random episodes on random days will probably just lead even more people to believe it’s a complete mess because everything isn’t resolved, with full background and lore, explained slowly and clearly (but with the minimum of dialogue and text and finished as quickly as possible) in the same episode it’s introduced.
