Usually we see alot of suggestions everyday about additions to the PvP, WvW and first and foremost to the PvE experience. People want new zones, new skills, new professions, new races and other things that would eventually bring life to the world of Tyria. Apparently Cantha is on the list too but the possibility of it coming (soon) is too low as Tyria as a continent has a lot of areas, yet to be unlocked. Assuming that Anet wants to unlock the whole of Tyria before going on to another continent.

Since all that and even more is already covered by many other threads. I decided to present my idea here about casual content that could add a special flavour to the world of Tyria, making it feel like a home rather than a collection of random areas that we don’t feel any connection too.

Some or all of the ideas may already be old however since most of the threads nowadays are about ‘’serious content’’. I wanted to see what people think about more casual content and apparently would love to hear your own ideas regarding the matter.

The content that I am talking about is something along the lines of:

1. More jumping puzzles
2. More mini-games
3. Housing
4. Guild halls
5. Fishing
6. Sailing
7. Gardening (could be done with housing)

and the list goes on..

The idea is simply to implement systems that would make Tyria feel more like a home. Something along the lines of a hobby system like the one in Lotro (it is not bad to get inspired by other games) in addition to the long awaited additions of housing and guildhalls. There are other ideas apparently and these will probably require alot of work from Anet’s side to implement these systems. They may not seem great for some and others may think they are childish. Personally though, I believe that a detailed world needs more than a sword and a couple of loot pieces. It needs more RPG elements that maybe simple in concept but could eventually add alot depth to the gameplay, enriching the overall gaming experience.

1. More jumping puzzles- With the new jumping puzzle added to The Silverwastes more will be added in the future.
2. More mini-games- As long as new players don’t get confused by them they will likely add more.
3. Housing- guild halls would solve this problem
4. Guild halls- Been talk that Anet might add this. Since it was in GW1 it’s likely going to happen at some point in GW2.
5. Fishing- This is new but not likely to happen since it would only really effect the cooking trade.
6. Sailing- Also new but not happening. Where do you need a sail boat in GW2? Also Anet has basically said they have walk away from underwater combat for the long run.
7. Gardening (could be done with housing)- Plants grow everywhere in GW2 and doesn’t need to have a farming simulator added in.

Kill stuff to unlock weapons skills, most confusing thing I ever heard of. (sarcasm)
