Almost got twilight… Been a frickin nightmare, T6 so hard to get…

It’s called the toilet for a reason. Gold is a sure thing, the toilet is a gamble where you can lose everything, or be one of the lucky ones to get something from it.

You got this far, so why lose it all now? Save some more and buy the precursor.

Something like 2600 hours and no precursor. I’m no a dedicated toilet gambler though. Keep your money imo.

Aside from T5 costing over 2s now, they nerfed the toilet even more, now you get lvl 75-79 random exotics too if you put 4x 80’s, so just save

points to signature

No flipping, no gambling. Don’t do it.

lvl 75 exos are ok if they are not part of the same loot table as precursors. If they have a higher drop rate post patch, its called breaking even G wise.

I was in your position (going for twilight, just needed Dusk and t6) when I came back to the game a couple of months ago. When I got back I decided that I wanted Twilight more than anything else, so I dumped my entire warehouse of anything that did not contribute to that goal and saved everything else I got. In the end I was able to outright buy Dusk from the TP. Would I do it again? 100%. When you are that close, it’s not worth it, IMO, to risk it all on a gamble.

I’ve got just shy of 2500 hours into the game, and have gotten a total of 2 precursors off the trading post with a little patience.

I’ve gotten zero from the “mystic forge” or from drops.

Save your gold, and then place a buy order and be patient. It’s a really cruddy way to have to do it, but it’s the only reliable method since Anet continues to push precursor crafting out on into eternity.

You need less gold for dusk. You have 400 but the highest buy order is 880. Undercut it for approx. 90-100g and it will be fulfilled if its still in the top 10 buy orders. So you are just 370g away for your legendary, dont blow it.

As for me, got my dusk for 670g while highest buy order was 760g. My order was the 10th from top and it got fulfilled withn 24h. I also had a lucky drop for zap from a edge of the mist kodan sentry. That baby got sold and paid for my T6 which I was missing to finish my twilight.
