Guild Wars 2

I have been looking through a site dedicated to Guild Wars 2 armor sets, and found a set that would be perfect for my character. Now I am only level 32 on my Norn Mesmer, and have no idea how high end gear works, or how it is obtained, but the one I wanted was the Mistwalker set. I have attached a pic of it, and googled it, but cannot find out how it is obtained. I don’t want the PvP variant, as PvP doesn’t really interest me, and it looks horrible anyways.

Can someone please talk me through what is needed to obtain this gear set, as I literally don’t even know where to start, or what is involved in any form to get it. (If my mesmer cannot use it, then I will make another character that can, but still want to know what I need to do to get it please). I don’t care about stats in any way, just interested in the items skin.

I think the mist walker set is a pvp only or it costs tokens in WvW.

That set is medium pvp armor which cannot be worn by Mesmers because they wear light armor.

So what kind of skill level would we be looking at to get such a gear set? I still can’t see how or where to obtain it or how many “WvW” tokens to gather. I am probably being really blind, but I literally know nothing about this stuff yet.

1889 kills in WvW. I think WvW can be done at any level as you adjust straight to 80 when you enter it.
You will need an engineer, ranger, or thief to wear it.

Ok I do have an engineer. Is it something I can only buy at level 80, or can I buy the set at any level and skin it? I take it it comes from a vendor somewhere in the Mists?

Although considering the strong Van Helsing vibe, might have to roll a Ranger for this set

Looks like almost 1900 badges of honor for a full set. You will be at it for a while….

Is it a badge per kill or a badge per win? I get the feeling im dabbling in things far above my skill level here

It’s a random chance at one or two badges for killing an enemy, and I suspect the armour trader won’t offer the Invader’s set until you reach at least level 70. I remember I couldn’t find that set until I hit 70 on my engie.
