This pretty much describes how I feel about it.
To be fair they do have to play to a wide demographic. Video games aren’t just for adolescent to adult males anymore.
I still think they (Anet) could do better though.

Pretty much this ^. However I do feel like the story is simplified in order to appeal to a wider audience, so there’s that.
The dialogue was tame, but suggestive of a relationship between Marjory and Kasmeer during this past Living Story. Made me think they needed to get a private room. So I hope they aren’t shooting to attract the 5-12 age group to their “Rated T for Teen” game.

Thes game is advertaised whit rating 12, so yea, its rather childish, the story part.
Ther is no blood and vulgar language and plot is lacking depth and seriousness, after all its pure good vs pure evil plot, what do you expect here.
A. 5-12 for the most part with occasional forays into the realm of PG13.
