I don’t play gw2 as much I did before so I don’t know when they made this change. However last time I checked air elementals float and made sense as air elementals. But today I went to Orr and to my dismay I meet this crawling revulsion that is what I used to call an air elemental.. What happend that caused this change? Out of all ways they can tweak it.. Do they have to go with ugly?

Nah, he’s just venting anger at something unrelated.

Pretty sure this change was made back in February 2013.

I think it was just made to make them more interesting, and I have to agree. I play an Elementalist who carries both Glyph of Elementals, and while I don’t summon air elementals very often, I do prefer the legged version.

So, yeah, it’s a matter of preference, and definitely old news by now.

It is fine that they give them an indicator direction.. But grounding an Air elemental? The 5 bent sticks look really tacked on. We might as well water down the fire elementals and make earth ele’s fly. .. But not without an obscene feature tacked on.

They did. It’s the Tail. But a Tail w/o legs would make it look vulgar. .-.

i like ’em! the original “floating bubble” didnt do it for me.

Just remember that even though they’re all grown up now and walking on their own they still love you.

The best part is that when they added the legs to the air ele there were hundreds of more serious issues present and in the patch notes we got “Added legs to air elemental”

Ah, thanks to your picture I can see how the current air elemental is GREAT now.. Now to gouge my eyes.

None of them had legs. They all grew them at once. I used to farm them all the time on my Thief and could never find their buttz. I’m probably the reason they did it. They must of been spying on me. :O
