Alcohol
There’s an achievement for it and if you drink enough in a row you get knocked down temporarily.
But that’s it. There’s nothing like the drunk effect in GW1 unfortunately.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Depending on your graphics settings, it could.
When I drink my beer of the month the screen gets all wobbly.
That’s it, though, you don’t get effects like in WoW where you see monster levels as lower than they are. Which I always found hilarious.
The regular ones don’t but drinking from the guild banquet keg will cause you to miss with your attacks. At maximum stacks you can’t hit anything.
If you have Postprocessing set to low, you won’t see anything different, but if you have it medium or high, that’s when you see the effect.
There should be more added features, like GW1 effects (or better), for a longer period of time, dependent on how much you drink.

+1
Alot of GW1 stuff was really cool like /drums /guitar and a handful of other things.
Any year not we might get some stuff but probably more minis and wardrobe clothing you can buy for the low low price of $19.99
Alcohol, like a large number of things about the first Guild Wars game, was a great deal funnier, and more fun, than it is in the sequel.
James Cameron, ArenaNet is not.
