All the crazy theories about everything.
Probably gonna be full of stupid kitten like “Anet is actually not trying to kill the game!” or “The game is actually balanced!”
Anyways. I’ve always had a lingering suspicion that maybe Trahearne is corrupted and doesn’t know it yet. Not by Zhaitan, obviously, the poor sod.
Everyone needs a little optimism!
I think all the characters in GW2 are made up….sssshhhhht, don’t tell anyone.

Not sure if you’re serious, lol. But I think there’s something odd with Trahearne as well, if you are. He may be all “goody-goody”, but something seems off with him.
The Living Story would be saved if it included the fact that Scarlet Briar is really Trahearne in drag and intends to take over the world just as we suspected all along.

I was being sarcastic! Honest!
And yeah, the first time I played through the story, I always felt like I was going to get stabbed in the back. Which is odd, because my senses are almost always correct when watching movies and TV shows.

I spotted a fallacy in the american consitution. Here it is.
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union” – Wait a flipping second. MORE PERFECT? That’s impossible! “Perfect” is as good as it can possibly get, and even THAT is impossible in itself.
Well, at leats you were confident, I’ll give you that, but you’re really in over your head.
What is my theory then? Americans aim too high.

Nah man, you just have to give 110% and it will work out.
The word “perfect” as used in that context means “complete.” I get your point, though. lol

Point being, you can’t reach “more perfect” , it’s a fallacy, “perfect” means that it couldn’t be better in any possible way. And a lot of things could be better for you people =P

There is no contxt in a fallacy, lol. “More perfect” is a fallacy ranking all the way up there with “Immovable object meets unstoppable force”.
This thread is so derailed that I thought I was on reddit.

Welcome to the internet!
But it isn’t derailed! “All the crazy theories about everything”.
But it isn’t derailed!
Now that’s crazy!
Everyone needs a little optimism!
See, language is complex and words and meanings change with the passage of time. “Perfect” has multiple meanings and in previous generations has not always been used to mean an ultimate product or situation that can’t be improved.
But it isn’t derailed!
Now that’s crazy!

No, “perfect” has one singular meaning that is not open to interpretation.
But it isn’t derailed!

Now I am disappointed. First of all I am not American.
Secondly my comment about 110% was a joke that supported what you said as it is impossible just the same to give 110% since 100% is all you have…I would’ve thought you would’ve caught that joke….oh well, I won’t ask where you’re from.

Here’s another consipracy theory – Cheap food is purposely filled with calories in order to fatten you up so that you need expensive healthy food to de-fatten. Massive income.
OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS.
I came to gw2 so I don’t have to think about the state of the world. Let’s just talk about crazy stuff ingame, ya?

For great derail.
I kinda had an implied assumption of ‘about the the game’ at the end of the title.

Oh, and Scarlet is Trahearne’s ex-wife and she’s still PO’d because he got the better end of the settlement… Hell hath no fury and all that…
I think the sivar are the reincarnation of the humans who where with the forbidden god but they are “good” because of the table and the “bad” would be the ones who hate the tablet.
Guild : OBEY (The Legacy) I call it Obay , TLC (WvW) , UNIV (other)

OP, if it were that way it would answer the biggest question I have, “what happened to the Gods and why don’t they have a position in this battle against the dragons?” Then again, with what happened to Zhaitan, the gods may not really see the threat how we see it.
I will say though, if Glints lair is any indication of what a dragon can do I wouldn’t be surprised if the world has that sort of twist to it. But, we have Ogden still around who has been around since GW. 250years of keeping an Elder Dragon and destroyers at bay.
I do think the dragons have some influence over many more players in high places though. I think with seeing how Zhaitan was handled it would be dumb for an Elder to not exhaust every avenue to rid the world of what they don’t want in it. These creatures aren’t dumb, Glint was pretty smart and only a champion.
On/off topic. We are actually in a matrix of sorts. An MMO Sims game from a far distant future (relative to the time we see the world in). We are all toons (humanity). We creations made by some gaming company being played by customers.
The humans in the game are not native to Tyria. That has been confirmed by the Canthan lore. The world they came from was probably facing a cataclysmic event that forced the humans there to flee to another world. This original world was Earth and the humans in Tyria were originally refugees. The thing is only a small fraction of the human population made it to Tyria yet they managed to flourish and prosper over time. Like the humans on Earth in their savagery and bloodlust, the refugees began conquering lands held by the natives and asserted their dominance over all the other races until the Charr fought back.
