Hello,

So for anyone who hasn’t played Gw1, here is a link for you: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Alliance_battle

I can’t help but feel like there needs to be a PvP game mode that provides a bridge between sPvP and WvW. On one side you have small 5-10vs 5-10 battles in a small arena that end after X time and have no PvE progression while on the other hand you have large scale 24/7 battles with huge 60v60v60 battles on a huge arena.

These two are so widely different I can’t help but feel like there needs to be something in the middle. Something to appeal to people who dont want large zerg fights, but still want to fight in an area that is kind of big, has PvE progression and what not.

I know about roaming, but I dont consider that a viable bridge.

AB was fun … but all the waiting between matches was not.

Agree with the above, some more structured arenas would be cool…

AB with 20 vs 20 would be cool.

or even 40 vs 40 with hybrid features of WvW but the balance of SpvP.
Seem too cool to ever happen.

Yes, this is sorely missing and, if implemented correctly (and that’s a big “if” given how sPvP in general went over), could make for some fantastic and lasting content.

Also, this mode might altogether sidestep the most crippling issue in WvW: the horrendous slowdowns (both server and client side).
