Guild Wars 2

As a mac user, I constantly crash in any large combat scenario (world bosses, silverwastes, wvw). I would like to be able to switch everything to lowest when I do these events, then instantly switch back to my original settings once I’m finished.

Is it possible to hot-swap configuration files while the game is running (if the graphics are even saved like that)?

Some settings are saved server side, some client side. Unlike other games, GW2 doesn’t use an INI file for settings. Some can be changed after launching the game; a few can’t be.

I wish ANet would change it so we could more easily manage settings. I’d love to be able to swap from “jumping puzzle mode” to “zerg mode” to “personal story mode” to “personal default”.
