I checked the world selection screen 10 minutes ago. it has a lot of servers saying “medium” and “high” and no “full” anymore. is this cuz many ppl quit or has the capacity changed?
Alot playing less or new capacity?
They might have just banned a load of bot accounts, I’m not running around zones to notice any impact else I could say (one way or the other) for certain…
They lifted the server caps just before the Wintersday patch launched.
Lots of people were complaining that the servers were full so they couldn’t join their friends (or well, to do so you had to wait at 6 in the morning for the full servers to go to very high and quickly transfer)
They lifted the caps so people could transfer, which was quite timely since a few friends just bought the game and needed to transfer over.
Guessing new people buying over Xmas has something to do with it as well
I think people quit daily basis and new people comes daily to block the holes, but the reason why they are not full have no explination, maybe they raised the capacity of the servers or there are less people playing, i don’t know really but i don’t care. The game is fantastic but i just don’t seem to have time to play the game everyday.
They did in a few evenings ago, all servers went from full to high/very high at the same time, and the huge whining about not being able to transfer stopped xD
If anything population is pretty damn zergy right now due to the xmas event stuff
They did increase the caps on the servers, so that has alot to do with it.
