How many do you have?

I currently do not have any. I had several but decided to delete them to focus on my main. This is the first MMO I’ve played where I feel like I can focus on one character at a time. It’s great!

I do plan to play more characters though!

Two. Mesmer and Warrior, along with my 80 Guardians.

I enjoy alting in this game. I feel that this game encourages, even rewards, having multiple alts. There’s no tiered gear progression, so once you’ve got your exotics (you can get by with rares), you’re set. And nearly everything is account bound anyway.

My goal is to have a full set of 80 alts in exotics.

None, I’m still working on getting my lvl 51 engineer up to 80.

But I’ll definitely create one of each race down the road.

Necro 80, Warrior 65, Guardian 50, Engi 30, Ranger 25, Ele 25, Mesmer 15, Thief 15

Four characters, only one played significantly. I’m saving the rest, but I loved the character creation process so I made them anyway. They’re like a cool little team.

I have 1. I got to 80 and then realized I actually dislike all but 1 heavy dungeon armor set on charr so I decided to make a light armor necro as most of the light armors look amazing.

I have 10 character slots filled but most of them are simply nameholders. I played GW1 and want to remake my characters at some point in the future.

Of the characters I actually play now, I have an 80 engineer, 80 guard, and now a 21 mesmer that I’m playing up.

I have my level 80 warrior who is almost fully geared out in exotics, I just need to work on his jewelry and I will be working on gathering a dungeon set sometime for him (just have to find the mix of looks to make a full set I like).

I have a level 74 guardian and a level 40 ranger.

i feel the game is slowing down.
and the forums too.

im not even lvl 80 yet…
its such a nice world… i hope they can save the gameplay.

even in pvp.

lets go full on arena.
why those defend the points blabla? its so not pug friendly.
so unless youre hardcore player in a team you dont feel like you male any difference in pvp.
sometimes you win sometimes you dont…

its a bit sad. its missing the feeling of well deserved victory.
i find overall the game is often missing that feeling.

but, it does a GREAT job at being an explore/epic pve game.
gameplay aside, the world is AMAZING.

80 Warrior, 80 Guardian, 60 Thief, 30 Necro, 12 Ranger.

I have eight; one of each profession. I have no main right now.

I saw 5 character slots, so I decided to at least try one of every race. Currently I have:

Main: 80 Sylvari Guardian

Alts: These are just waiting for me to play… eventually.
3 Human Mesmer
2 Charr Warrior
2 Norn Ranger

I had an Asura Engineer, then realized that Asura Tech and Engineer Tech really don’t match. So that will get replaced by an Elementalist, since I can think that the Asura are so technologically awesome that they can just “make” magic

If I play the game long enough to want even more characters, I’d branch out to 8 so I can go for one of each class. It would be Charr Engineer, Sylvari Necromancer, and either Human or Asura Thief.

1 level 80 warrior with full exotic. 1 lvl 3 thief with full starter :P

I’ve been playing with as many professions as I can. No mains as of yet, although my guardian and ranger are highest-level so far. I made a charr thief, but I’m not sure if I like the race. -.-

I have all 8 alts right now (all classes)….be really hard to pick a favorite. Kitten!…it is hard..every time I log in, lol

80 Thief/80 Warrior/80 Elementalist/80 Ranger/11 Mesmer.

I have 8 characters, 1 of each Profession as well.

I swear I spend more time on the character selection screen than playing.

1 of each profession, but didn’t enjoy the Ranger or Elementalist or Engineer, so they’re pretty much unplayed. The other five get a lot of playtime, with Thief/Necro/Guardian being my favorites.
