Am I the first to get the Selfish Potion?

Have some questions. I guess the tonic is infinite and also you can use it with all your characters. But its a combat tonic? Can you normal fight with that? If that is the case, can you even use combat potions (10%dmg for example) meanwhile?

Yes you can use it in combat, fight normally, and use food and utility buffs as normal.

So you can fight while the halo is activated?

Seem to be the first, curious if it works with other tonics? I know it says it is one but I had kinda hoped it’d function similar to the Support Badges

how the heck did you get so many…2 days and I am maybe at 100? And I did almost nothing else but LA for hours on end.

Well by the picture you can see that its account bound even after he used it so you can use it on all characters and we can still see his weapons skills so its a combat tonics.

Good! I don’t know about some of you, but many of these rubble piles have been nay impossible to get on my own with zergs bouncing from event to event. Hopefully the player base will shift a little into the other areas to help out with roaming operations looking for these kitten things and rescuing peeps along the way.

Gz, but why do your shoulders look like tents?

I don’t even know how you were able to get 250 heirlooms this fast.

I thought it was account bound, so you can only get it once per day per account.

I’ve been constantly going in on daily reset and travelling to the rubble piles and don’t have any where near enough. How did you guys manage to get them so quickly?!?

Really? I know you’re just saying this lightly but I’d think that in this fandom, there is way enough of ~baddies looking characters. Flame and spikes, flame and spikes. So I thought/think the ratio of people wanting the horns would be equal

I have a theory.

Heirlooms can drop from the Alliance bags. Alliances bags can be gotten via Black Lion chests, and a massive amount of grinding.

Hence, get as much Alliance bags as possible plus some farming = bam, 250 found Heirlooms.

I was able to get about 88 heirlooms across the two days it has been available, so you only need 162. Opening lots of alliance bags + the crate will get you close.

so 36 rubble piles x 2 days = 72 heirlooms from rubble piles

I have 83 heirlooms total at the moment… 11 heir looms out of about 1000 bags that I have opened from 10 runs with ~100 bags each… I must have some rotten luck with bags.

Starting to think this is the more likely explanation. really hope this doesn’t get tagged as an ‘exploit’.

I’m at 97 heirlooms, and I’ve tried bouncing overflows, guesting, using alts, creating new characters, the works. None of it gets you extras. How the heck did you get a full stack already?

EDIT: I guess the theoretical limit so far should be:

(38 rubble/day * 3 days) + (5 heirloom/event * 24 events/day * 2 days) + 5 heirloom/event (just before daily reset first day) = 359 heirlooms.

This assumes you NEVER ONCE missed a single event, your overflow scored 2000 citizens every run, and you found all 38 rubble in the hour before the first daily reset before a map came out. Sounds pretty impossible, but I guess there’s at least a 50% margin for error there. You could be at 220 if you stayed awake (or botted) for every single event thus far and got at least the 600 citizen reward (3 heirlooms per event).

(38 rubble/day * 2 days) + (3 heirloom/event * 24 events/day * 2 days) = 220 heirlooms

Well to get it at this point you must spend about 50 hours in LA and succeed in rescuing civilians. Needless to say, to get it this early, you’d have to be playing nonstop.

How long does it last on its own and is there a way to turn it off?

Yah after I read last night that there was a daily limit of once per rubble, I realized something was up. This was the only logical explanation I could think of (especially since I know I “double-tapped” a couple of those rubbles at different times in the same night).

Hehe, you think you’ve seen bad luck but no sir! I saved all the alliance bags from today to open at the end. I had a little over 1000 bags and no heirlooms dropped from them.

So are players able to gain the system by using alts to get into other overflows and get multiple bags from those events? Is this ok to do? I don’t need a ban right now.

Got mine now too, It’s heavily effected by ambient lighting…and the gear around it and I’m really sad I can’t wear it when using a quaggan tonic or my harp. Other

Keep in mind, everyone who’s posted so far is in the same guild, we were doing it together, the ones of us with more of a lag had to work inbetween.
