While the preview page for the next patch will be opening in a few hours, I’ll post this early preview for those of us who like to play ahead of the game.

Excellent timing. Was just getting back into fractals.

Awesome video, incredible music this time. But I am not excited at all for this patch. I know that sometimes some content isn’t for me and I need to accept that, but as much as I try to get excited for anything listed there; I am not.

Same… This patch, if it is as described, does nothing for me. Well maybe taking peeps out of ebg, but I still think there will be a que…..

Never played Fractals. Nothing against it, I just haven’t gotten around to it as I’m not particularly interested in endlessly repeating a dungeon.

But this sounds good to me because it looks like it’s probably going to be permanent content rather than temporary, which means I don’t need to worry about doing it right away.

Also because the extra 2 new fractals are both things players have been asking for since they were first released.

I don’t like the reset though.

I guess for newer players it will be like “omg …..wow…..”. For us older players it’s more like “great they updated something” It’s defiantly not one of the updates that we were looking forward too and not one that makes me jump out of my chair to be honest.

Since ascended wasn t enough…….

So. I have around 30 Ascended Rings on my storage character, over 40 FOTM relics and few awful looking FOTM Weapon skins.
What new rewards are they adding? 40+ FOTMs are less rewarding than AC P1 P3 SCs, Arena Net, better make the new rewards good.

What vertical progression are you talking about?
I might have missed something, but from what I can see there is no new vertical progression added.

Don’t really look forward to the Mai Trin end boss if its still like the AR dungeon one. God its gonna take a long to finish…

You now will be able to drop new AR things and combine them to get more AR ..

And people complained about SKINS…..

Obviously 0 use for our fractal T7 i bet….. Frctal player should be punished at all costs…

Also, can already see it now.
Roll AR fractal 1st, everyone (including me) will want to reroll, just like we already do if we get dredge first…

Three Fractals: In addition to illuminating the strange circumstances of the Thaumanova Reactor meltdown, players can experience two more historical events thanks to further Fractals research. The Molten Furnace Fractal allows players to relive the daring raids on the Molten Alliance facilities, while the treacherous Aetherblade Fractal has players infiltrating the Aetherblade’s old base of villainy.

Two Boss Fractals: The Jade Maw of the Solid Ocean Fractal is no longer the only challenge awaiting players when they make it to the end of each set of three fractals. Special boss encounters with the Aetherblade captain Mai Trin and the two Molten Alliance champions from the Molten Facility have been added to the rotation.

Wait, it mentions the three new fractals ( Molten Facility, Aetherblade Retreat and the new Thaumanova ) and two new boss fractals and the 2 new boss fractals are the boss fights in Molten Facility and Aetherblade Reatreat. There is no need to mention them twice, or are the 2 Living Story fractals now divided into normal and bossfight fractals?

Your personal fractal difficulty and reward level is being made account-wide! Starting with the Fractured release, you can attempt high level fractals on a new character without needing to level up all over again.

So they’re making fractal levels account bound, in addition to dropping everyone down to 30 (if you were above it).

Should at least scale according to your level. 1-10 – 1G, 10-20, 2G, 40-50, 5G, etc.

This may actually interest me enough to start playing Fractals.
