And as Wintersday ends I’d just like to say that I really enjoyed it. It was my first one in GW2 and, for me, no bad points really.
A decent mix of quick and daft events and dailies, another JP to be hopeless at, a bell-ringing thing that I finally got the hang of and spent too much time on and I made some decent coin selling the stuff out of the presents.

One particular thing that warmed the very kittenles of my heart was the casual player cooperation on the snowballing daily. There was always someone hanging around willing to be the target for the daily and, in turn, I made sure to do the same for others. It’s a small thing but I love it when those little unscripted trends emerge and benefit everyone.

So it’s all good and, no, this is not one of those forum posts that starts nice and has a sting in the tail. I really did enjoy the event.

Edit: Comedy kitten filter. Replace “kittenles” with a quintessentially British mollusc that rhymes with Bockles.

Aside from the crazy drink/peppermint requirements, it was what I expected for Wintersmonth. Er, day. I always did like Bell Choir, even if a perfect 600 eluded me this year. :P

Many alts; handle it!

I also enjoyed Wintersday a fair bit this year. Made the shoulder piece and cost me a lot but made all of it back by farming the JP for hours. I also like the length of the event and look forward to see what Anet has in store for us for next Wintersday.

GG Anet on a great holiday event!!
