And raids?
They just added new PvE content… O_o
There will be no raids in this game… Not atleast for a very long time as I have got the feeling. But… If you want massive player content you should do Tequatil and three headed Wurm atleast. Then there has been some Living story content that unfortunatly was temporary that has quite a good teamwork massive player battles.
If you want more dungeons go try Fractals.
Oh, btw… Everything is booring after some time, even dungeons… It all boils down to how much you play them and how much you are willing to play them.

well as you can see im begginer so i needed those answers ^^ and btw thank you sir/lady for answer
I don’t believe the focus of this game as ever mean to be raids or dungeons. They certainly don’t get the most attention. I think you’ll find open world is the focus here, and you either like that or don’t.
I prefer this to a game centered on dungeons, but everyone is different.2

well i agree with you Vayne, some players prefer to do events and some players prefer dungeons. Anyway im having alot of fun leveling so thats only thing that matters i guess.

Umm… First I wanna point out to you how to quote and reply without having to post twice. First you select the arrow on the post you wanna quote (Quote this user) then on the next page write your own text under the [./quote]
Anyway, remember that this game is not all about leveling, in my opinion atleast. The game has so much more to offer you once you have level 80. Also about dungeons, compaired to other games GW2’s dungeons is not “just” a dungeon but an instance with more paths to take. So one dungeon is more or less 3-5 dungeons in one, what I am saying is that don’t forget the explorer paths of the dungeons
Guild Leader of Alpha Sgc [ASGC]
Yes, there are 8 dungeons, but each dungeon has 4 paths – 1 Story path that follows the story of Destiny’s Edge and 3 Explorable paths (The exception to this is Arah, which has 1 story path and 4 explorable paths). In total, that’s 33 different paths altogether.
You also have 17 different Fractals.
Then you have 18 mini-dungeons hidden out in the world.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
All this is true, but when you look at the amount of open world updates compared to dungeon updates, you can see that dungeons are a small part of the overall plan. I just don’t want to give people the wrong idea.
We’ve been running, more or less, the same dungeons for a very long time. There have been a few new dungeons but for the amount of time the game has been out…I think it’s fair to say it’s not a focus of the devs is all.
I think the new content will be better than just dungeons in the long run, though and I think even people who like dungeons might want to try giving that content a chance before writing it off because it’s not a dungeon.

Yeah, I was just listing what was actually in the game given how the OP thought there were only 8 dungeons.
While Fractals and Dungeons are ‘there’, the mini-dungeons aren’t as advertised, if you will (not that I’m complaining about that, as someone who likes finding things for themselves).

Wait for the yearly Fractal update in November, surely it will add one extra dungeon.
And decrease the drop rates to further encourage gem sales.
Dungeons = done million times in 2 years, mini dungeons done all once all booring and useless since no rewards or anything, Fractal done 49 so many times and 50 that its really really booring.
Need raids/Raid with good reward for hc players and more dungeons WITH challenge!
Devs give us sneak peak plz !
Do they even have a dungeon team anymore? I thought I read it was disbanded.
And OP got to level 40 in one day?!?!?!
Slow down boy! Chew your content before you swallow it.
Why does everyone want GW2 to become WoW? If you want to play WoW, go play WoW instead of turning GW2 into WoW
Do they even have a dungeon team anymore? I thought I read it was disbanded.
You’re going to need to back that up with a quote or a link since they’ve pumped out significantly more dungeons in the last 2 years than a game like WoW.
I don’t think we really need raids, but we certainly need squad interface to know who we have in the group and organize better.

The original dungeon team has disbanded, but that doesn’t mean that a dungeon team doesn’t exist. All it means is that the team that worked on the original dungeons is no longer on dungeons.
I do believe one of the main guys from that team isn’t with Anet anymore though.

That was a question, not a statement. I thought I read it somewhere which is why I was asking.

You’re simply in one of the very few MMOs that are different, and that a lot of players play exactly because they simply got sick and tired of all those kind of games.
So if you really need raids, please play any of those other games, but don’t try to turn this game into just another of “those games”.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

The quality of the post-launch dungeons indicates that the new dungeon team has a much better direction and understanding of how to make dungeons fun, challenging and interesting.
It’s extremely duplicitous to say that “the dungeon team was disbanded” without telling the full story that there is a new dungeon team putting out better content than the original one. The term for that is “half-truths” which I would say is bordering on telling lies.

I absolutely agree with you.
The new dungeons have been hands above the old ones. More fun, more challenging and more interesting…for me anyway.
Plz … all dem casuals… its casual game.. we need content for hc players not for casuals so yeah dungeons or raids is way to go..
Hi people! I just started playing gw2 and i hit lvl 40 in one day,so i just wanted to ask you GW2 developers if you are reading this, are you going to add more PVE content soon? i mean i saw only 8 dungeons i guess and thats it,i mean events are really boring after some time. Raids would be awesome since there is alot of players, and more dungeons would give us tons of fun. PS sry for my English *have a nice day
They have only added one real dungeon in the two years since release (Fractals), and one new medium-longish dungeon path to an existing dungeon (TA Aetherblade).
Take that for the future development of this game as you will.
