Anet can you please make it so that risen giants count toward giant slayer? They are giants after all

But they are risen. They are creatures of Zhaitan, and as such, killing them will count toward the Zhaitan’s Bane slayer achievement.

This is no different than any other creature of Zhaitan. Risen drakes do not count toward the drake slayer achieve, nor do risen raptors count toward raptor slayer, etc.

^ Pretty much this. I would advise patience. You never know, a following map might allow us to farm lots of Giants in a short amount of time. For example, Draconic Mons was a great place to farm Plant Slayer since all the druid spirits around the first Heart count as Plants (not to mention that lots and lots of spirits spawn during the Wardbough quest chain).

I like the idea that there are some achievements that are just going to take longer to finish than I’ll be playing. It means I don’t have to worry about trying to get it all done.
