Anet just sent a Christmas Card to me signed by a lot of the devs. Very cool! Anyone else get one?

They do that every year. It’s just a little something extra they do. Sent to random players and has nothing to do with the cash shop.

I got one in the mail too, girlfriend bought it in and said it was from ArenaNet :P

Wintersday Cards are hand-signed cards sent out, in real-life, to selected players by the ArenaNet development team

The selection criteria for who obtains the cards is secret, but the distribution is not random.

Thought it would be fun to try and figure out their “secret” to who receives a card.
I’m guessing it has to do with either cash spent or possibly loyalty.

I bought the game via Amazon and all my gem purchases $600+ were made via Paypal so I doubt I get a card since I don’t think they have my address. :P

Ahh… I’d be happy if they just offered some semblance of respect and support for Mac client customers.

Dude I spent more than that, I even went out aan bought a new pc just for this game.

Well, I hope they don’t limit it to fan sites. Fan sites often get sneak peaks and insider access to the content before its released so they have their guides up(ahem dulfy). I think they get enough fanfare from arenanet.

It would be nice of these cards went to good samaritans(sp) of Tyria, people who behave themselves on the forums(this counts me out), and just an overall decent player enjoying GW2 as it is meant to be played.
