Eh what? Have you ever tried pushing them keys? I bet not. The whole game feels so much better, you actually L O O K AT THE W O R L D they have made. Instead of just looking at minimap and you’r CD’s.

Well, we were just kicked in the shins, but we weren’t shot, so there’s nothing to complain about!
As for the UI topic: It would be nice if Anet could at least allow us to disable personal story and living story menus. The only reason I want to finish personal story is to remove that obstruction.
I suffer from a disability that makes it impossible me to recognize three dimensional art, I only recognize it for a few seconds but unable to recall any memories. This is called topgraphicalagnosia.
The simplicity of the interface of the game makes it easy for me to play. I don’t see a reason to change honestly. I don’t like how developers rely on users to rested the sir own interface for the game.
you can actually change the size of the UI in the options menu. so it can be quite a bit smaller or quite a bit larger if you want.
the quest tracker thing, however, is another matter. it would be nice if there was a way to toggle it on and off through a check box in the options menu. i can’t really imagine it being too difficult to implement, or it having any negative impacts at all. however, it’s a quality of life improvement, and those tend to end up at the bottom of the list, and rarely ever get a second thought.
google up the gw2 combatmode mod. There’s a config you can use to clean UI. It isn’t perfect, but its as close as you’re going to get to an empty screen with cooldowns and hp still visible.

LOL, this is probably why they WON’T make the UI adjustable so as to force people into doing them. I hope this isn’t the case but you just don’t know.

I really hate those, especially the ones relates to temporal events like the living story.

They’ve practically said as much before. Having those quest prompts up 24/7 pushes people into areas and zones they simply wouldn’t go into otherwise. See: regional dailies.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
