I NEED Azurite Orb, that’s all i’m asking about, you can’t craft Azurite Orb…
It used to be mined, now it’s not acquirable for some reason, and i wish someone from Arena Net to explain me why, and how to find alternative, because i cannot be stuck in Rare gear, just because i cannot efford more than ONE ASCENDED part of gear from laurels per month… This is pathetic..

Currently Molten Furnace Fractal has only Mithril Ore nodes and those are the only source of Azurite Crystals.
cant you combine them into orbs?
Unfortunately, no, the Azurite Crystals cannot be combined into Orbs. It’s unknown if the Ori node in that Fractal was intended to be removed.
Still, if/when r500 Jeweler is released, I fully expect there to be a new acquisition method for Azurite Orbs, similar to how you can buy Sentinel inscriptions/insignia from the Guild Commendation Trader.

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘jew part’, but the Orbs are selling for about 8 – 9 Gold.
I think he’s referring to the Azurite Orb jewelry. The Orichalcum Azurite Earring is currently selling for almost 63g.

The highest price for an orb is 10 Gold, so…they are available, if he wants to craft. I had no idea they were so pricey…have some sitting in Collectibles. Silly me!
That’s why I went with soldier stats instead of sentinel. The price is absurd, the means to acquiring the gear is absurd, everything is absurd.

So… make gear with berserker stats? If you’re playing PvE, that is.

I also run Ascended sentinel weapons and armor on my warrior and soldier asc trinkets rather then exotic sentinel trinkets.
Right now im working on the new asc sentinel trinkets from the dungeon collection achi.

Azurite orbs were available during the Flame and Frost prelude to living story season 1, where you first met Rox and Brahm. You would get to mine for a chance from the mithril and ori nodes that were in the digging tunnel right at the beginning. Once the episode was over, the gems disappeared. No one really saw that coming at the time (and those who did are reaping the rewards now) as I and others thought it would just be thrown into the loot table for all nodes then.
But basically, you can’t obtain these orbs anymore (I don’t believe the fractal drops them), so there is a limited supply, and the cost can only go up.
Actually, IIRC there is a chance for the orbs to drop in the Obisidian Sanctum ori nodes
