If you could move random NPCs away from banks, trading post merchants ect, I would be eternally grateful. (As would many others, I’m sure) It is really irritating when you are trying to speak to a merchant or use a bank but then find yourself role playing with some useless NPC. QQ

This never ever happened to me in any city whatsoever, maybe its just you? Have you tried actually clicking the specific character instead of spamming F? That might make a difference ^^

The only (few) times this has happened to me it’s with merchant NPCs spawned by other players when it happens, as cupcakesandcatnomz (nice name) said, just select the npc with your mouse.

I specifically mean the banks at Lion’s Arch and Divinity’s Reach. (Though I do have it happen in other places, just not as often as these two in particular)
Divinity’s Reach bankers you can’t click on, and the bank in Lion’s Arch is constantly surrounded by lots of people making it a pain the click the NPC you want to talk to.

I know for a fact this has never happened to me in DR, and I’m fairly positive it’s never happened to me in new LA. I just stand in the big ball of people and hit F. Maybe I’m just lucky.

It’s happened to me in LA so many times. It’s always a random NPC making the rounds, and not a fixed player-spawned merchant. Very annoying design, especially considering it’s usually extremely difficult to actually see the merchants there due to them being lost in a crush of larger character models.

The only time I have anything close to this issue is when i’m trying to press F to use a crafting station and the vendor responds.

I would rather they disable Minis near NPC’s or Crafting stations, those Super Bananas and Toxic Hybrid can get realllllllly annoying.

Yes, because mouse-clicking on the specific banker character when there are twenty or so players all mobbed around each one is soooooo much easier. Many times I can’t even find the actual banker npc amid all the players so “spamming F” is my only option.

Thank you to all of you who somehow manage to never have this problem or care about it for commenting. I for one would LOVE to see all of the random npcs who only serve to make that interaction difficult, DISAPPEAR!!!!

Who even goes to the bank when Crafting stations do that, and more. The only somewhat arguable point is Lion’s arch, where the bank has proximity to the Forge, and is a long distance from the Trade Post…… but we all know they did that to help sell the agents on the gem store.

Because not 100% of my in game time is spent farming or in the PvP lobby at the bank or TP. But thank you for being clever to point out another option to access the bank.

I could also just buy a bunch of bank access wands or whatever they are. The banker golem is also an option for those with disposable income. Wish I were one of them.

Happens to me at LA bank all the time. Not a big deal, but annoying.

Anet pls make it a bit easier to obtain Dark Matter for ascended items. It takes so long and is soooooo boring finding exotics with dark matter in them. It would be greatly appreciated.
