Repost, I know.. but this one is merited considering the amount of people who clearly want it:

Dear ANet,
Anise’s Armor. [&AgECWQAA]
Suggestions on how to make this work in pieces: (as seen in the attached file)
Light Armor:
Chest = The Corset (as shown on left model in photo)
Leggings = Mini Skirt with pattern (as shown on left model in photo)
Boots = Thigh High Boots (as shown on right model)
Shoulder = Shawl (As shown on right model)
Head = this is where we’ll need to be inventive… perhaps some sort of masquerade style pattern
Gloves = Full armlength gloves (as shown in both models)

Please take 800 of my gems for this armor set. (Combat Wearable… not town clothes)

Make this happen… make your quarterly earnings estimate!
Thank You!!!!

It would be outfit.

And here is the problem, if its gemstore many would buy it and after a month no one would wear it. How many people you see sporting balindas great sword? I guess it would be win for anet. If anything it would make a great armor skin that is earnable in game through tougher means helping it to keep “value”.

Trejgon, you’re likely right. These are just screengrabs from armor examples that have been put out in the past from Anet.

Yes… I’ve been begging for this armor for over a year now or more so. I wouldn’t mind it as an outfit as well. Altough I prefer the version Countess Anise is wearing. I would pay even 2000 gems for this.

It looks so much better before before the guy who adds crotch flaps to everything in GW2 got his mitts on it.

What would it be for males though? Outfits and armor skins are, after all, not gender exclusive.

I like the one on the left of picture #1 labeled “original”. (It seems to be the same as the one on the right in picture #2). Like dace.8019, I think the flaps and butt-capes have been done to death. I think the long sleeves would most likely be considered part of the top, and the gloves would be small hand-only things again. (It looks like this on the right side of picture #1). This is fine by me; I generally prefer bare hands. But if you were to introduce a sexy arm-length glove, I would definitely have no problem with that.

Listen to me ANet:

I will never, NEVER, NEVER buy an Outfit! This must be a set of armor! I don’t give a flying Dolyak’s rear-end how nice it looks. If I wind up looking exactly like everyone else in the game, I don’t want it! LONG LIVE MIX ‘N’ MATCH!

They made TOWN CLOTHES into Tonics. “Outfits” are the new Town Clothes. (Or so they say). But yeah, I want to kill the joker who thought tonics were a good idea. I still have my tonics in the hope against hope that someday they’ll come to their senses and at the very least turn them into Outfits (yeah, right!)

In my opinion, famous NPCs shouldn’t have their armors available (as well as other styles such as hair and weapons), because they should remain unique. It’s just my opinion though.

I’d say that it’s all the more reason to see armor in a matching style sooner or later. Everyone wants the cool armor or outfit that famous hero is wearing, after all. It’s only a matter of time before someone starts to produce something that looks nearly the same.

- Think of how many people would buy it if it were (at minimum) released as an outfit.

- Then think of how many people would buy it if were made as a mix ‘n match armor set.
Because keep in mind, just because all of us post on here, doesn’t mean everyone who plays the game does.

I’ve seen countless more people ingame than I do on these forums. And I too wish anet would release this preferably as a mix and match armor set vs. outfit. But it just seems that’s so much $$$ they’re denying themselves in sales which is beyond me.

Yes I’m a vet, yes I’m salty. Problem?

I’d pay money instead of gold for anise’s armor set—assuming it’s not an outfit and is the same as what Demarca suggested.

That’s entirely different though. lol.

The environment of an MMO is much smaller and the diversity is less, and you’ll also run into these people more frequently. In the real world, not so much, unless it’s at a comic-con/cosplay type of event.

I’ve been begging for Anise’s armor and for the ’’Mesmerish dress’’ aka Noble dress ever since Beta.
I would pay whatever only to get those dresses!!
The main reason why I created my first character as a Mesmer..

Hold the phone here just a second…
http://dulfy.net/2015/03/31/gw2-upcoming-items-from-march-31-patch/#Outfits

So, the armor skin set that MANY of us have been requesting… and what appears that the time has been put in for to design for other races and male characters… will only be available as an ‘Outfit’ and not as wearable armor in the game? Excuse me for being, just a little, perplexed.

Anet, Why?? Why has thou forsaken us?

The fact that outfits are LESS flexible than GW1 outfits ( you could wear your own helm) is really frustrating. The monocle would be outstanding with some of these.

Because it’s easier~ as they rather just straight rip it off her and onto you instead of modifying it. It also allows Anise-cosplayers to be of any class since we’ll never have the luxury of being able to wear heavy/light/medium mixed together.

I’ma strong supporter of allowing outfits to change head pieces tho- no excuse for not being able to imo. Biggest flaw outfits have.

Keep in mind, this armor was female human only before…. If it was ‘easier’, then why spend the time and go through the exercise of making this skin applicable to the other races and gender?

Makes zero sense.

This should be an armor set… not an outfit.
