ANet, please give us, the old players, another chance of obtaining the Gift of Battle the old way for at least a day or two. Give us a decent notification in advance.

Just like the Karma there should have been a warning. I’m ok with this seeing how a major change like this should have been told in advance before the Rank was involved in getting the gift. And before the commander tag went from 100 gold to 100 gold and 250 badges.

If you want the Gift of BATTLE you should get your hands dirty, now go out there, help your server and kill those walking loot bags!!!

Again, it’s battle = fight.

Just spend a few days learning to WvW, and you’ll be fine. This requirement for the Gift should have been in the game since launch.

That’s a totally different situation.

While I agree that there should be warning before something like this happens. Running with the zerg is just like the champ train. It’s not very skill intensive, and instead of loot you are earning levels. Level 30 can happen much less than a week.
