Guild Wars 2

So there my sylvari elementalist was, gathering lumber in Metrica Province. Someone very kindly left a Box O’ Fun stocked with fireworks near Conduit Tower Blig, so naturally he set them off. When I swung my camera upward to admire them I found…um, that.

There’s a random asura gate up there. There’s various chunks of landscape and trees. There’s some stepping stones if you run a little further north to look at it. From some angles it looks almost like EotM all jumbled up.

Maybe it’s been there all along, or maybe my client is rendering a particularly strange graphics glitch. In any event, I thought I’d share.

It’s the jumping puzzle area of the Metrica Province, which has indeed always been there.

Also, was using my Elementalist sylvari to park some items for later, and listened in on some ambient dialogue . . . will need to catch it again but it seems like there’s been changes.

Duh, should have thought of that, it was one of the first I’d attempted at launch. Odd that I never noticed it before from that angle. I should look up more often. :P

Near the Leatherworker place, I heard it again as I logged in last night but couldn’t catch it.

You people never listen! You are missing all the stuff!

That doesn’t just has been always there, there’s a freaking giant arrow pointing at it near the waypoint in Hexane Regrade. But I guess most people just run past it without bothering with reading it.

So make it two advices: Always look up, and read everything.

I do love how well hidden some of the jumping puzzle and other thing are in this game,remember having to do one for Mawdry, and thinking, “I’ve 100% this area and been here for lots of different reasons. I’ve NEVER seen this before!”

Wish Anet would do that more in new content actually, hoping we get some neat secrets in HoT.
