Its not really insider trading because someone who is claiming to be a legitimate leak openly said on Reddit to go buy them. Its pubblic information at this point, all that’s left to see is whether or not they were telling the truth

Just in spite of the leak, they should instantly make a karma vendor producing account bound version of the food for cheap, thus killing the price.

If I remember correctly the devs said in the recent AMA that they can’t make skills affect 10 players, yet in the “leak” they say some skills will affect 10 players. IT will be weird if they make buffs affect 10 players after saying that there is a technical limitation for NOT doing it. Unless they solved the issue already

The price of food that impacts a ‘new’ meta always goes up. Further, it’s entirely reasonable that prices are affected by speculation about any upcoming patch.

In other words: no, that’s not even close to meeting the threshold for even worrying about the possibility that maybe someone is involved in insider trading.

Of the non-karma ingredients with high prices, the current trends are:

• Artichokes: huge spike. However, easily farmable at two different node farms.
• Onions: no spike. Not easily farmed. (Price peaked last June)
• Garlic: no spike. Not easily farmed. (Price has been steadily rising for over a year.)
• Butter: no spike. Not easily farmed (Price peaked in October of last year.)
• Spinach: no spike. Easily farmed at two node farms. (Price peaked in October 2015 and has been rising towards that since December.)

Conclusion: people bought a lot of artichokes recently.
Recommendation: move your farming to Mount Maelstrom and Straits of Devastation. Each artichoke farm is worth ~80 silver/character/day.

At under 6 minutes per farm, that’s 8g/hour, which can be easily quadrupled by parking toons at the farms.

The price of Rare Veggie Pizza went crazy today, from 38s to 55s per piece.

Does it means that there was some information leak about the Condi food after 22.2.2017 balancing patch ?

I have this for PvE maps. But this food is not optimal for raid builds.

I think there is a different treatment between boons which have complicated mechanics like intensity and duration (see might or regen) and special buff which only works on duration (alacrity, EA or Grace for example). This could be the reason why they talked about technical limitations for boons while they could be minimal for buffs. That said they will not necessarily up all the buffs to affect 10 people.
