Greetings warriors,

I am a huge fan of the White Mantle design and their lore, I am even in love with them in the GW2 as they finally showed up!
Sadly no matter how hard I try to do the Raids, to receive and buy all of the White Mantle weapons. It’s nearly impossible for me to do this.
I keep getting disappointed each time I am trying to do Raid to fulfill one of my GW2 goals- to get full White Mantle weapons...

As that being said, should there be any possibly alternative way to get these weapons?
I do not care about stats or rare fine/exotic/ascended/etc, all I want is the weapons skins and only the skins!

Since White Mantle are popular in the LS3, I would love to have the same gear as them!
If you’re interested I’ve made a White Mantle Collection, just to look like the real NPCs (armorwise)

I am willing to buy these weapon skins for Gems or whatever it’s needed to get these beautiful weapons.
Or make them sellable/buyable for TP?
I will never be able to get these weapon skins, no matter how hard I try or how many times I do the raids.
Time and IRL stuff are not with me most of the time...

But do let me know about your thoughts regards this,

As a non-raider, I have no issues with these being exclusive to raiders and I say that from the POV of there being other skins I really want from raids too.

If you are willing to pay, aren’t there groups who sell runs to help with this sort of thing?

I am a non-raider as well who really likes these skins. As a father, husband and full time restaurant manager I am always disappointed with content I can’t participate in due to the massive time investment. It makes more sense, in my opinion, for elite content to grant exclusive titles only.
I respect that other players and even the devs may disagree with my point of view on this topic and if they choose to leave it as is it won’t discourage me from playing the game. I will simply have to continue to envy the players I see with these skins.

Buy gems —> convert gems to gold. Buy wings 2 and 3 to have full access to the vendors, then do whatever raid bosses you can to earn shards (look in the raid LFG tab, there is almost always a group advertising sales). The Glenna escort is about the difficulty of a dungeon and you can shard cap weekly without even killing a boss (so join practice runs). You may even meet a group along the way that raids casually or does training runs.

I did buy a run once for the Wing 2, Matthias Gabrel, but it costed me 180g.
It would take weeks to even get the X amount of Magnetite Shards to actually buy WH weapons.
And it would be expensive as kitten if only ’’one path’’ will cost 180~200g.

Thanks for the tip, rhapsody!

I’m glad I am not the only non-raider who would love to have these weapons skins of White Mantle then!

The white mantle weapons should never have been in raids (which should only have skins based on the actual bosses), especially since they mainly occur outside them. They should have been rewards from Bloodstone Fen or from the living story (which has god-awful rewards thus far).
